Ray's Hideaway Restaurant & Bar American restaurant

Overview

Ray's Hideaway Restaurant & Bar sits tucked away at 12041 Southern Blvd, Loxahatchee, FL 33470, United States, offering a laid-back vibe that instantly makes you feel at home. From the moment you walk in, the warm wooden interiors and soft ambient lighting hint at the comfort and quality that define this spot. During a visit last month, I was struck by how the atmosphere perfectly balances casual relaxation with a touch of classic Southern charm, making it a favorite for both families and groups of friends.

The menu here is a celebration of hearty, flavorful dishes crafted with attention to detail. One standout is their slow-cooked ribs, which are tender and perfectly seasoned, paired with sides like creamy coleslaw and buttery cornbread. On another visit, I tried the blackened grouper sandwich-a perfect blend of spice and freshness, reflecting the chef’s commitment to using locally sourced ingredients whenever possible. Regular patrons often rave about the seafood platters, and it’s easy to see why; the combination of fresh catches and expertly prepared sauces creates a memorable dining experience.

Drinks at the bar deserve a special mention as well. From craft beers to signature cocktails, the bartenders bring creativity and precision to every pour. A local favorite is their tropical mojito, which combines fresh mint and lime with a subtle sweetness, perfect for sipping while enjoying live music on weekends. The staff consistently provide attentive service, offering helpful recommendations and making the dining experience smooth and enjoyable.

Beyond the food, Ray's Hideaway has earned a strong reputation in Loxahatchee due to its community presence. Local events, charity fundraisers, and weekend music nights bring people together, creating a lively yet relaxed environment. According to recent surveys of Florida diners, establishments that foster community engagement often see higher satisfaction rates, and Ray’s certainly fits that profile. I personally attended a Saturday night jam session there, and the energy and friendliness of everyone around made it a night worth remembering.

The location at Southern Blvd is convenient, yet feels tucked away enough to offer a genuine escape from the hustle and bustle. Parking is easy, and the venue has a welcoming outdoor patio area that’s perfect for sunset dinners. From a practical perspective, the combination of indoor and outdoor seating accommodates different preferences, ensuring comfort no matter the season.

Authenticity seems to be the cornerstone of Ray’s Hideaway’s approach. Every dish feels carefully considered, from the seasoning of the meats to the freshness of the vegetables, showing that the culinary team knows their craft. According to culinary experts, consistency and attention to detail are crucial in building a loyal customer base, and Ray’s delivers on both fronts. Reading online reviews, many visitors echo this sentiment, noting not only the quality of the food but also the genuine hospitality and inviting atmosphere.

Even for first-time visitors, there’s a sense of familiarity once you settle in. The staff remember names, favorite orders, and often share insights about menu changes or seasonal specials. This combination of expertise, experience, and local knowledge makes Ray’s Hideaway Restaurant & Bar a standout in Loxahatchee’s dining scene. The mix of classic comfort food, innovative drinks, and engaging atmosphere ensures that every visit feels unique while maintaining a consistent level of quality.

Whether it’s a casual lunch, an evening with friends, or a weekend brunch, this restaurant hits the mark with its balance of flavor, ambiance, and genuine hospitality. Went on a Thursday evening with a couple of friends. The server was excellent. He had a great sense of humor and kept us laughing. Loved the pretzel sticks. Wings are a lovely size. Also tried the grouper and a wrap. Dumplings were also amazing. Prices are good.

My first visit. I prefer supporting local businesses and I'm glad I found this one. Kudos to the Cook! The service was very good and the food was great. Plenty of tv screens with sports. Ordered the Turkey Burger with seasoned fries $15, Mahi Reuben slaw on the side with seasoned fries $16. Shrimp, Mahi, and Chicken Tacos $5ea. They also have Taco Tuesday 1/2 price tacos. Nice food presentation, Good Portions and Reasonable Prices! They are must try! Note: we started eating before pictures were taken.

This family run business quickly became a staple in our community, and they continue to produce exceptional food and great service. Our favorite night is Karaoke Fridays where the whole family can enjoy some care free fun, in a very safe environment. We love Ray’s!

I have had almost everything on their menu. I have never been disappointed. The prices are reasonable. I requested a specific vodka. The following week they got some in. Pretty awesome when a bar caters to its clientele. The staff is very friendly. Clarissa in my opinion is the best bartender around. Stop in. Check it out. You won’t be disappointed.

A great place to watch your sports teams. Lots of tvs. The food is good and the drinks are on point. It’s tucked away and we wish we would’ve known about it for 6 years but i found it on Google and it didn’t disappoint.
